About “Chrome Country”
In the music world, your first album typically staples your sound into the new listener’s ear, but for Seth this was only the beginning. Starting music at such a young age is a blessing and a curse, considering there is so much growth in the youth’s future to change and adapt to who you truly are and want to be as your own being in an artist form. Seth’s history of music is almost endless, especially for the age he started working. With 3 gospel albums released before the age of 14, Seth was busy touring the east coast as a solo ministry performer for 6 years, afterwards with a quartet for 2 years before continuing to release original music for the first time. His songwriting book is full of country, indie, pop, rock, and every genre you could imagine, Seth has tried writing to find his own sound and style, and this was his first body of work to come together.
“Chrome Country” told the story of a young southern boy from Madison WV who wanted nothing more than to do music. Country being is biggest influence and knowing pop was his soul love he combined the two in order to make the perfect mixture of pop/country you hear throughout the whole album that is genuinely him as a person through music.
